I’m a 22 year old model, singer, adventurer, student, dancer, explorer, performer,  excitement-craver, girl, analyst, life-lover, designer, Earth-activist, horse-rider, animal-lover, woman, free spirit, hopeless romantic, dreamer from South Africa, and thought I’d give this blogging thing a go.

I definitely can’t define myself in one word, I don’t even think I can do so in one sentence! I’m an ambitious young woman who constantly finds herself in the middle of a mid (or quarter) life crisis. I’m also a student, currently working full time for a market research firm, teaching Latin American and Ballroom dancing and tutoring school kids. I’m also a model and Designer/Layout Artist.

I was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and was dragged around from the mother city, to Johannesburg, to Durban, and back to Joeys, throughout my childhood. I have four cats, Amy is my special girl and you’ll see some of her on here at some point. I love pizza and melted chocolate (not together, that would be weird, though I suppose you can’t hate it till you’ve tried it right?) and cooking. I often find myself experimenting with different recipes in my spare time. I definitely didn’t get that trait from my mom, she can’t cook, well she doesn’t cook, but I’m sure she could if she tried. She’s more a best friend to me than a mom, so is my gran, who, come to think of it, is definitely the chef of the family (thanks granny!). I remember helping my gran prepare for family gatherings when I was a toddler, and by helping I mean waiting patiently for that bowl of left over chocolate mousse mixture to find its way into my grasp for licking, err, I mean cleaning of course!

So that’s part of my background, in a very small nutshell. Call this a blog, a diary, confessions of a misguided brat, call it what ever you like, I hope you enjoy watching as bits and pieces of my life unfold.
